Hexagon LED garage lights for work bays and car displays
Put a honeycomb pattern above the car you work on, the bench you use or the space where you spend your evenings. Our hexagon LED lights are made for garage upgrades, shop and workbench lighting, man caves, showrooms, home gyms, car detailing bays and barbershops. Choose from white-light, dimmable, RGB and colored-border kits: compact grids frame a single area, while larger kits carry the pattern across the ceiling.

Match the kit size to your ceiling
Every standard kit lists its assembled size in the product name, from the 1-grid (3.0 × 2.6 ft) to the 50-grid (20.3 × 15.0 ft). Measure the clear ceiling area you want to cover, then choose a kit whose dimensions fit inside it. Leave room for the garage door when it is open, along with its tracks, the opener and any overhead storage.
Over a single car bay, the 14-grid (12.5 × 7.3 ft) and 15-grid (15.9 × 8 ft) kits run along the length of the vehicle. A 5-grid kit frames a workbench or a compact display.
- A single car bay → 14 Grid Gen 2 (12.5 × 7.3 ft)
- A single car bay with more length to cover → 15 Grid Gen 2 (15.9 × 8 ft)
- A workbench or compact display → 5 Grid Gen 2 (7.3 × 5.1 ft)

Dimmable or fixed brightness
Non-dimmable kits come on at full brightness every time, which is the simplest choice for a garage or shop used mainly for work. Dimmable kits change level through the wall switch you already have: switch off and on again within three seconds to step from 100% to 60% to 30%. The kit remembers the last level for the next time.
Both give 6500K white light. Choose dimmable when the same room also has to work as a place to relax, film or entertain in the evening.
- Full-brightness light for a work-focused garage → Non-dimmable hexagon lights
- Bright for work, lower for the evening → Dimmable hexagon lights

A custom layout across the whole ceiling
When no standard kit fits your ceiling, plan a custom honeycomb that covers it edge to edge. Our Hexagon Lighting Designer takes the room length, width and the margin you want to leave, then works out the layout, tube count, connectors, total power, estimated lumens and lux, and where the power feeds go.
Start from a preset for a one-car garage, two-car garage, detailing bay or showroom, or enter your own dimensions. Export the bill of materials as a PDF, or contact our team if the design needs adjusting.

White light, RGB color or a colored border
White hexagon lights suit time spent cleaning the car, organizing tools or working at the bench. RGB Gradient kits bring color to a display bay, home gym or evening hangout.
Colored-border kits keep a white honeycomb for working light and frame it with a blue, red, green or magenta border. The border adds color to a showroom, barbershop or man cave while the white grid still lights the space below.
- Everyday garage work and car care in white light → 11 Grid Gen 2
- Color across a display bay or leisure area → RGB Gradient Gen IV, 11 Grid
- A white grid framed in color → 15 Grid Gen 2 with Blue Border
- All RGB and colored-border kits → Color hexagon lights

Hexagon LED Lights FAQs
How are hexagon lights installed?
The light tubes join with 120° V and Y connectors to build the honeycomb, and the finished grid mounts to the ceiling surface. Kits are plug-and-play: the power cable ends in a standard US plug, so the grid can run from a nearby outlet.
How many tubes can one power cable run?
One cable can feed up to 62 tubes, with a maximum load of 440W. For a larger layout, split the grid across several feed points and spread the tubes evenly between them.
What color temperature are the white kits?
White hexagon kits use 6500K, a cool daylight white. It keeps tools, paint and surfaces easy to see in a garage, shop or detailing bay.
Can I use a wall dimmer with hexagon lights?
No. Our 1-10V Dimmer is not compatible with hexagon garage lights. If you want adjustable brightness, choose a dimmable kit, which needs no separate dimmer.
Can I replace a single tube or connector?
Yes. Replacement tubes are sold in 2-packs for standard and dimmable Gen 2 kits, V and Y connectors in 4-packs, and a replacement plug with a 5 ft cord is also available.
Why is one tube dark after installation?
Usually a pin is misaligned or there is debris at a connector. Isolate the dark section and reseat the joint before replacing any hardware.
