LED vapor tight lights for garages, barns and utility areas
Damp air and everyday dust call for an enclosed light fixture. Our LED vapor tight lights include 4 ft Capsule models with fixed 5000K white light and selectable models for spaces with different lighting needs. Surface and suspension options suit utility corridors, garage work areas and barn interiors.
Sealed 4 ft lighting for damp, dusty work areas
Capsule combines a 4 ft body, fixed 5000K white light and an IP65 housing rated against dust and water jets. The 5,200 lm version offers a lower-output choice for utility routes; the 7,800 lm version adds output for garage and barn work areas.
Cold rooms, chemical cleaning and pressure-washing routines need a model-specific review of temperature and cleaning conditions. Share those details with us when planning the installation.

Different rooms, settings you can select on site
A utility corridor may call for a different output and white-light color than the work area next to it. Selectable models let the installer make those settings on site. Hyperlite 4FT offers 4000K, 5000K or 6000K; VTL offers 3000K, 4000K or 5000K.
The 4FT model is available individually, while these VTL options come in two-packs. Ratings below are per fixture at the highest setting.
- An individual fixture with 4000K–6000K white-light choices → Hyperlite 4FT, up to 8,645 lm
- Two lighting positions with 3000K–5000K color choices → VTL Series, up to 6,500 lm each · 2-pack
- A two-fixture work area needing more output → VTL Series, up to 10,400 lm each · 2-pack
Close to the ceiling or suspended below it
HPVT02 includes surface-mount hardware for fixing the fixture close to the ceiling. Chain and steel-wire suspension are sold separately when the lights need to hang below beams or other overhead structures.
Both models below have selectable output. Stainless-steel clamps open the housing for access during installation; the cable entries and seals need to be fitted as specified to maintain the enclosure protection.

Is vapor tight the same as vapor proof?
The terms are generally used for the same sealed category. Compare ingress rating, housing and lens construction on the exact listing.
Can one fixture cover rooms with different needs?
Several listings offer selectable wattage and CCT so output and colour temperature can be set on site — useful when one part number serves mixed rooms.
How many Capsule Series vapor tight lights can I link on one run?
On the 4 ft Capsule Series the practical limit is 11 fixtures at the 60 W setting, or 17 at 40 W. Confirm the total load against the circuit and breaker rating before you fix the layout.
Are they dimmable, and can I add a sensor or battery backup?
The 4FT and HPVT02 models accept 1–10V dimming (the dimmer itself is not included). HPVT02 can also be specified with a built-in emergency battery and a microwave sensor for egress lighting or occupancy control.The VTL model is wattage-selectable — output power can be adjusted via switches on the built-in driver. However, it is not dimmable and runs at fixed output at the selected wattage. Capsule models are also non-dimmable and run at fixed output.
What supply voltage do they need?
The 4FT Vapor Light, VTL Series, and HPVT02 Series run on 120–277 VAC, while the Capsule Series is rated 100–277 V. On selectable models, output wattage and colour temperature are set by switches on the built-in driver, so there is no separate ballast or driver to match..
