Project Scope: Custom engineering and supplied a 56-grid Hexagon garage lighting system for Jimmy based on the sktech and floor plan provided.
The Challenge: From an Idea to Something
- Every big project starts with an idea. Jimmy Paquette came to us with a challenge: he had an idea for a garage lighting system that he wanted us to make happen.
- We started with Jimmys idea and layout. We had to turn his idea into a system that would work well and look good. This meant we had to do some technical work to make sure the light was spread out evenly and the system was strong.
- Some electrical issues needed to be concerned. There is a lot of LED tubes to manage, you have to make sure they did not use too much power and keep the "honeycomb" look.
- One more thing is : accessories. From tube to connectors, power plug, or even screws, everything needed to be counted to make sure the design can be accomplished.
- Shipping the system to Jimmy in Port Charlotte, Florida and made sure it got there on time is one of the things also needed to be considered, this project used Ocean shipping to save cost and make sure the construction project could stay on schedule.
The Hyperlite Solution
- We Helped with Engineering and Design; Our team took Jimmys idea and made it better. Instead of just selling him some parts we gave him a plan to make it work.
- We figured out what Jimmy needed for the "Blue & Green" circuits. We gave him special connectors to make sure everything worked right.
- We also gave him some parts, like spare connectors and power cords so he would not have to stop working if something got broken.
- We Gave Jimmy Special Support, a custom manual was made for him so he could install the system easily. this manual marks connectors, power lines to make sure the design works.
Project Results
The 56-grid hexagon system made the garage look amazing. It was like a showroom. The light was perfect for working on cars and building things. It was also even and had a good color.
The installation was smooth thanks to our planning.
Jimmy was happy with the result. We are now working together on some other projects. We will be doing some bay and linear lighting for him and we will be covering the whole Gulf Coast area in Florida.
