How to install LED High Bay Lights

At first to install some powerful UFO High Bay Lights could seem something difficult or tricky due to their size and industrial looks, but actually it can be very simple and easy. Thinking about it, the easiest ones to install are the Radar Series High Bay Lights, you would only need to screw-in the Motion Sensor –Radar Series accessory at the bottom-center of the fixture and then hard-wire those powerful and high tech UFO high bay lights in place, hung them with their hooks and safety wires and that would be everything needed to have a very well lit space with motion and dimming controls available specially if you use the available Remote Controller Tale Series.

Another examples of very simple set ups are Hero Series and Saturn Series High Bay Lights, if you are not planning to use the dimming function through their dimming wires you would only need to hang them in place using the provided US Hook and safety wire and plug them to a receptacle (yes, both Hero Series and Apollo Series High Bay Lights come with 110V plug US standard) then turn on the switch and that would be it.

Normally to hang these UFO high bay lights you can do it by using an eye-bolt or eye-lag screwed directly on a truss or rafter in the ceiling of your building. There is also an optional accessory for Hero Series High Bay Lights to perform a flush mounting it is called Surface Mount – Hero Series which is similar to a U bracket.

But if you want to use the dimming function you would only need to use a separate circuit with low voltage wires, you can use 18awg gauge wires and a 1V to 10V LED Dimmer and connect it to the purple and gray dimming wires coming out of the top of both Hero Series and Saturn Series High Bay Lights. This same procedure can be applied to Radar Series however for Tale Series High Bay Lights you would need to cut the wire that goes from the top of the fixture to the motion sensor module (if you use this type of set up you will not be able to use the motion sensor accessory, additionally you can check out the descriptive video in the product page showing this mentioned procedure) look for the gray and purple dimming wires and connect them to the dimming circuit with the 1-10V LED Dimmer.

With Will Series Linear LED High Bay Lights the installation is very similar also. It is a three-step easy installation; Will Series Linear LED High Bay Lights come with V-shaped hooks and strong chains. To install one you would need to fix the chain rings to the ceiling, then fix the V-shaped hooks to the light body, and finally the V-shaped hooks to the hanging chains.  There is also other mounting options using the Surface Mount – Will Series accessory or using the exclusively designed pipe. Will Series Linear LED High Bay Lights are ready for hard-wiring (they do not come with a plug).
