We just wrapped up a custom lighting simulation for one of our customers, Blake, who is setting up a 70ft x 30ft space with a 12ft ceiling.
Blake had some excellent, specific requirements for his build:
The Goal: As few shadows as possible.
The Environment: White metal walls and an epoxy floor finish (which will brilliantly reflect and amplify the light!).
The Control: The ability to break the 70ft length into 3 separate lighting zones.
The Question: What is the amp draw per light?
Here is the tailored layout and product recommendation our support team put together to achieve an ultra-bright, shadow-free environment:
To deliver even, seamless coverage across the entire space while minimizing shadows, we recommend 12 pcs of our 165-watt Linear High Bay LED Lights.
Brightness: 24,000 Lumens per fixture
Versatility: Adjustable Wattage & CCT (Color Temperature) so you can fine-tune the brightness and warmth.
Voltage: 120-277V compatible.
Amp Draw: For a standard 120V circuit, the amp draw is 1.375A per light.
The lighting simulation is just for reference; customer can adjust it according to the real situation.
Because these fixtures are being installed along a 70ft length, they can easily be wired into 3 distinct zones (4 lights per zone). Combined with the reflective white metal walls and epoxy floor, this setup will maximize light bouncing, virtually eliminating harsh shadows and giving complete control over the ambiance.
π Note: Lighting simulations are an excellent baseline reference and can always be tweaked to match real-world installation nuances!
